Continuing Education Events

Every veterinary technician has an obligation to be their best; by upholding high ethical standards, educating clients and coworkers, being a valued team member, aiding profitability, and of course, providing unrivaled medical care to all veterinary patients. Central to each of these core concepts is continuing education (CE). Continuing education is paramount to long-term success within the profession. Our quarterly newsletter entitled the VET TECH insider is the premier resource for CE opportunities as well as other pertinent information for Michigan veterinary technicians. Furthermore the Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians annually sponsors a RACE approved education conference. Speakers prominent in the veterinary profession present topics designed to help technicians excel in the workplace. Details about this and other continuing education opportunities for Michigan veterinary technicians can be found below.
