I am a 2009 graduate of the Baker College of Cadillac Veterinary Technology Program. My involvement in veterinary medicine began in high school, and has grown to be the number one passion in my life.

Immediately after receiving my first degree, I began working toward my degree in Business Administration. My ultimate goal is to become a veterinary practice manager.

Currently, I work full-time at a veterinary practice in Acme, MI. I am also helping to open a brand new, emergency practice in Traverse City, MI. I look forward to working with an excellent veterinarian, who serves as an amazing pet care advocate and a supportive mentor.

Aside from veterinary medicine, my interests include scrapbooking, facebooking, eating vegetarian food, wedding planning, and spending time with my friends and family. In November 2009, I got engaged to my best friend, Tom. We are looking forward to getting married in late 2011.

My furry, four-legged children include Sadie (an affectionate English Cocker Spaniel), Tucker (a naughty Boston Terrier), and Napoleon (a neurotic Boston Terrier.) They are the loves of my life.

I look forward to my three year term on the MAVT Executive Board. My goals include encouraging MAVT membership, increasing community service and client education, and creating public awareness about the field of Veterinary Technology.
