Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians Scholarship Programs

Scholarships are awarded yearly to first- and second-year students enrolled in a Michigan Veterinary Technology Program. The scholarships are presented to notable veterinary technology students who possess qualities of leadership, academic excellence, and career potential. The winning scholarship entries are selected by members of the MAVT Scholarship Committee.

Felicia Asher is the winner of the $500 MAVT Student Scholarship with her essay titled, “Always Looking Ahead”.

 Ginny Sue Lewis is the winner of the $250 Michigan Veterinary Specialists Ann Wortinger Nutritional Scholarship with her essay titled “Nutrition: What’s the Big Deal?”
